Complete an assigned course

For students who need to finish an assigned course and its quiz.

Before you begin

Sign in and open the course assigned to you. In this example, the course is Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).

1. Open the course

Open Courses from the training portal menu.
Select Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
Check the course progress bar and the Course Content list.

What you see on the course screen

Across the top: the course title and your progress, such as 0% COMPLETE.
Main area: the course description, key takeaways and Course Content.
Lower area: the lessons and the quiz in the order they must be completed.

2. Complete each lesson

Open the first lesson.
Read through the lesson, then select Mark Complete.
Select Next Lesson and continue in order.
Confirm that a green check appears beside each finished lesson.

What you see after completing a lesson

Across the top: the progress bar advances by one step.
Main area: a green confirmation says Great Job! You've completed this lesson - Keep it going!
Side area: the finished lesson has a green check and the next lesson is available.

3. Complete the quiz

Open IIPP Quiz after the lessons are complete.
Answer every question.
Select Finish Quiz on the quiz summary.
Review the score summary, then select Continue.

What you see after the quiz

Main area: Results and the number of questions answered correctly.
Score area: your points and percentage.
Next step: Continue returns you to the course flow.

4. Confirm completion

Return to the course screen and confirm that all lessons show as complete and the course status is Completed. Your completed-course count should also increase on the dashboard.

Tip: Complete a quiz in one sitting where possible. If you need to stop, return to the course and check the progress indicators before starting again.

Warning: If the course still shows In Progress, do not assume the record is complete. Check that every lesson and the quiz are finished.
